European Cancer Rehabilitation & Survivorship Symposium hears about PanCareLIFE’s progress

The European Cancer Rehabilitation & Survivorship Symposium (ECRS) 2014 took place September 8-9, 2014 in Copenhagen. Jeanette Falck Winther presented a poster entitled ‘Childhood Cancer Survivor Cohorts in Europe’ (abstract nr. 99) including information on PanCareLIFE;  Abstract and program book ECRS 2014 can be viewed here.

This 12th Acta Oncologica Symposium is organized by Acta Oncologica & the Danish Cancer Society and is the biennial meeting for clinicians, administrators, scientists and public health experts to exchange ideas, evidence and information within the field of cancer rehabilitation, survivorship and late effects.

The scientific program combines interactive workshops, plenary sessions with keynote speakers, oral abstract presentations and posters addressing a variety of disciplines within cancer rehabilitation and survivorship. One of the sessions focused on childhood cancer survivorship, and keynote speakers included Dr. Kevin Oeffinger (US) and Flora E. van Leeuwen (NL).
